An odd mix of corny humor and battle scenes. Clint Eastwood doesn’t really have the comedy chops. He seems out of place in the entire film. Telly Savalas just kicks ass, Don Rickles is annoying as always. But the best character is that of Oddball, a hippy tank commander played by Donald Sutherland. Its very heavy performance, but it is funny. The movie was an enjoyable old school guys flick, with its lackluster comedy and surprising realistic battle scenes. Will be rich, rich as Nazis!
