Upon second viewing, I realized how much this brilliant work is the Coen Brothers. The same repeating dialogue, the same spinning out of control. Much more subtle and harder for the audience. I loved every minute of it. It so beautiful, the shadows so dark, the light so bright. And the entire time, it doesn't matter if he is there of not. He is just the Barber.
