I’ve wondered if I could create a film that is feature length. The answer is probably no. With lots of filler it would be long enough, but only entertaining for 30 of its 90 minutes. Such is Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Its an entertaining concept, Jesus has to defeat vampires who have been taking over a local parish and killing lesbians for their skin, but really is only about 30 minutes of entertainment. The rest is scenes of cars driving and extremely long fights that make the film a “full” length. It was also shot on 16mm, causing some odd dubbing. If it were only shorter, it would be a B movie gem.
