A great western. One man alone against his wife’s wishes, the towns people, and the world. Gary Cooper the retiring sheriff is about to go on his honeymoon when he learns a man he locked up long is returning from prison. The town is torn between the heavy handed morality and relative safety of the sheriffs control, and the hedonistic orgy of gangs return. Cooper is forced to stand his ground alone. God bless America.
