Made for TV movie by Frankenhiemer. About Vietnam and LBJ. Nice insight into how weak LBJ really was. Frankenhiemer is good as always. Alec Baldwin plays Robert McNamara very well. Frankenhiemer seems to try and boast LBJ’s image, making him a man trapped between a rock and hard place. He doesn’t really succeed at it, since the facts condemn LBJ more then enough.
