Saw it at the Harvard Film Archive, accompanied by live pianist Yakov Gubanov. I saw him perform last year at Northeastern for Der Müde Tod. Once again he did an excellent performance, his tunes remained in my head for the rest of the night. The film unfortunately was not the newly restored one, which has the scenes from Yahrawa among others. Damn. Great film however, through it really reinforces how much sound does play a role for todays audiences. At times it is really hard to pay attention, let alone stay awake. Disclaimer aside excellent film as always.
