An East German Film about a young women, who wants to escape the drudgery of life and become a diva. The film opens with Sunny already with a singing career with a traveling band. They live a somewhat bohemian lifestyle traveling around East Germany playing various gigs. It is an interesting film in that shows a realistic view of life in the GDR, abet one approved by the state. It leaves alot to be desired but for the late 70’s seems like any other B movie of the time. A surprise given its circumstances.
