I started watching it a little late, but still became wrapped up in it. Hitchcock builds the suspense so masterfully. its amazing that almost every shot is from the apartment window. It makes me miss living the middle of the city. So much always going on, the window into strangers lives, the guilt in watching yet being unable to look away. Hitchcock compresses so many stories into this packed courtyard during a heat-wave. I was riveted every second, a masterpiece.
