A big budget French film about a beast that is terrorizing the French countryside right before the revolution. The Kings Taxidermist is sent to investigate. He along with this adopted brother, a Iroquois from New France, take names and kick ass. I’m still bored by fighting scenes. I know who is going to win, why bother watching. Otherwise the film was good. Nice conspiracy theories about the French revolution and the Catholic Church. Plus they never really show the beast itself, a smart move. An enjoyable film that seems to have not made it outside of France.
