Amazing. I hadn’t seen such a good film in a while. I left the library in a daze, with heighten senses. This is the kind of film I compare to drugs, well at least the drugs I know. Granted the effect only works the first time. Very open ended, very Kubrick, 2001 was only 4 years before. I want to watch it again. More importantly I want to watch Tarkovsky’s other films. It connects with both memory, reality, humanity and the great unknown. This film is a mind fuck. Excellent.
