It seems a large point of this film was to watch Vicky light a cigarette. The film deals with the dysfunctional relationship she has with Hao-Hao and how in 2000 she vowed to leave him. Interestingly enough the narration was set in 2010. It didn’t impress me too much, I was very bored near the end and I left the theater not really knowing the purpose of the story. It had this interesting spatial quirk; the camera would not change its position in a room. Instead with a very long take, it would pan around. Which made me construct all the spaces as very flat. Overall a mediocre film with some nice visuals.
