This is a wonderful movie to watch. As long as you give up on the story and the dialogue, the visuals are great. Its the New York City I always wanted to see. It goes so far as to have a GG1 speeding by. However this is like a George Lucas film. A overwhelming focus on the technical, which obscures and ignores the other elements. In an Apple making of interview Kerry Conran tells how he created the whole movie first with digital stand-ins for the actors. Then he goes on to say how the actors even took mannerism from the stand-ins. Hmm.
