Whenever I go to google and forget what I was going to search for, I start typing Mononoke. I think its enough o’s and n’s. I was told that the film is about the environment, I was surprised by the way the story unfolded and how graphically violent it was. Miyazaki’s character design as excellent as it was in Spirited Away. No ash balls, but instead little forest nymphs with rattle heads. It’s a nice allegory against the modern economy and how humans must be the vanguard to protect the environment.
