It’s an interesting story, after shooting for 6 days Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, production had to shut down. The sets flooded, Jean Rochefort set to play Quixote was ill, the lead actress had yet to sign a contract, and more. I was disappointed how standard the documentary was. At times the motion graphics looked really good, only to be subverted by the “olde-tyme” movie look. Jeff Bridges narration was clumsy at best. With the unique story that Gilliam is sure to present, I wish the documentary had lived up to its source.
