Trash is an apt description. Is it not the movie and just the times? Sure there are some funny jokes, if you ignore the racism (oh crazy Chinese man, to mark his entrance let use that Oriental music, no even better a gong!) But was I missing some part of my life by never seeing this? No. Some part of the American way? Probably. A part I could live without. Give me The Breakfast Club on TBS anyday.
