Director Claude Lelouch had a gyro-stabilized camera, his Ferrari and a fairly quiet Paris to drive through as fast as he could. It lacks a lot of polish, he almost makes a wrong turn at one point and another he has to drive onto the sidewalk. But then of course the realization fades in that, wait he almost hit that car. But not a movie accident with gruesome makeup. No he almost killed the people in that car. Insane, stupid but riveting footage.
