The Yes Men

The documentary is pretty well done, quite a step up from the short film I saw years ago about The Yes Men’s first WTO impersonation. The camera follows the Yes Men around on three WTO pranks, the final one resulting in the disbanding and reorganization of it. Or at least that what they tell the press conference. The Yes Men’s work is extremely satirical and pretty depressing. Especially the journalist’s very positive reactions to the news of the disbanding. The people they impersonate know what they are working for is wrong, yet they delude themselves into furthering the system.
