Human Nature has all the right elements; great writer, director and cast. The story is quirky yet logical and it’s filmed with Gondry’s visual constructions. But for some reason it lacks a lot of depth, especially when compared to Eternal Sunshine, but it’s also shallow next to Being John Malkovich. Perhaps I am too harsh and expected too much, not everything Charlie Kaufmann writes can be gold. But it is pretty damn close to everything.
