A group of boarding school girls, have a picnic at Hanging Rock on St. Valentine’s Day 1900. Three of them and a teacher disappear on the rock. The Mystery deepens as the girls who do survive, can’t recall what happened. The primal menacing Australian landscape goes up against the all too proper English boarding school. Yet rest assured all the girls remain intact.
