P.T. Anderson sets up a complex choreography that seems impossible, within already beautiful composed shots. And Adam Sandler plays the same retarded man-boy he does in every other film (I assume so. This is the only Adam Sandler film I’ve ever watched to the end) The first hour is good, as Sandler’s character is surrounded by his impossibly evil sisters. The last half-hour in comparison is disappointing, the resolutions are a weak tying up of loose ends.
