In Fast, Cheap & Out of Control Errol Morris is interesting in the similarities and overlaps between four wildly different eccentrics: A lion tamer, naked mole rat specialist, topiary gardener and a robot scientist. Despite their differences, they all have the same approach to nature, society and the essence of life. The film is all over the place, both the visuals and the subjects, yet Morris not only ties it all together, but also make its entertaining.
