Moore is as populous as always, but has perfected how to tug on the heartstrings and really packs emotion into his takedown of the current US healthcare system. It’s much slicker, though still not sophisticated, then his previous films. He takes the low road, but also holds himself slightly back. Not to say Moore doesn’t get pretentious, however it felt like far less showboating and media stunts then I expected.
