I had an incredible sense that I've seen Akira before, though I couldn't remember specific scenes. Possibly I saw it in the last few years and I never entered it. Or possibly I saw it in high school. Certainly I can see how it would be more impressive in high school. While impressive now, it was rushed, withdrawn and straightforward.
