The first two thirds of the film it's George Clooney playing a George Clooney role as a "fixer", lawyer-ing into messy situations and cleaning them up. This part of the film is more then competent, as he tries to fix an Monsanto-like corporate pollution case, but not particularly engaging. In the last third of the film elevates the rest and becomes masterful, suspenseful conspiracy thriller.
