Starting with a failed Southern California pet cemetery and it's successful counterpart in Northern California, Errol Morris creates a documentary that is more interested in people then funeral arrangements. It is perplexing at times and slow, but he showcases figures who are authentic characters. Their meandering, candid thoughts are the film and linger well afterwards.
