As a mashed up teenage, coming of age, gross-out, madcap, romantic, Michael Cera-vehicle comedy, it never really seems to find its legs. There are enjoyable scenes near the end of Nick and Norah finally finding their mutual attraction. But it is preceded by a unimaginative, excessively convenient plot.
