I felt like the story never started. It might be the structure of chapters, it might be the non-stop pace. it's action without a pause or breather. It never gave me a chance to get into it. That being said the film is beautiful to watch. The production value is of course outstanding, the attention to detail is superb, and the Wes Anderson quirkiness is embodied down to the finger prints in the fur. The Fantastic Mr. Fox leaves me somewhat torn. I liked to watch, but it never engaged.
