It retains a focus on characterizations like the first and packs in as more characters then can fit. Sam Rockwell was entertaining as a rival to Downey's Stark of equal vanity. And Garry Shandling as a senator was inspired. The action sequences pause enough to keep the jokes running. It's an entertaining diversion.
