Flowing with an easy, convincing rhythm Crazy Heart succeeds on Jeff Bridge's natural performance. The film deals with familiar clichés, but avoids being overcome by them. The plot feels abridged and too neat. Bridge's Bad Blake is a strong, engaging character, who's story could carry much more.
