Caché explores the hidden truths beneath a bourgeoisie life. Anonymous, voyeuristic video tapes crack the banal surface of the protagonists life, surfacing his life long denial. Michael Haneke alternates the surveillance on the screen and our observation of the film. It feels Hitchcockian, if not as satisfying as and more far obtuse.
