It's every bit as wonderful as the best Coen Brother's films. Watching it again I was struck by the continuous build up of the comedy. Little bit and pieces keep compounding until they reach uproarious heights. There is a theme throughout of interconnectedness, from the Yiddish short on, all coming to a head with it's dark, tragic and witty end. The Coen Brothers at top form.
