A chronicle of Ralph Nader, from his early car safety advocacy to his presidential runs. The production left a lot to be desired. The editing was mediocre, it used awkward b-roll footage, and the title sequences were horrible. But it depicts a good story. And the film blossoms with the 2000 election. It might be my own involvement at UMass or the fact there was actual conflict. As oppose to Nader's early years, the anti-seat belt lobby being long dead. In the end the film is an honest, admiring portrait.
