A chaotic, frantic, nightmare. The film is constructed of disorientating, mirrored spaces, constantly flirting with reality and hallucination. Natalie Portman is wholly convincing, blindingly dedication to her craft, battling with herself for perfection. Another fantastic film by Darren Aronofsky, a worthy companion to the Wrestler.
