An evocative coming of age film, with vampires. A lonely, intimidated boy finds a touching friendship with a strange, cryptic girl in a snowy, suburban Sweden. It felt very tragic, Eli being stuck as a 12-year-old connecting with humans to only see them grow old and die. While poignant, it wasn't as engaging or satisfactory as I hoped.
