Seeing it in IMAX with speaker in the seat made it an extravaganza. The transition between IMAX and 35mm wasn't jarring, I noticed it more in the sharpness of the picture then the shape of the frame. Technically it looked and sounded great and was designed to blow the viewer away. The story didn't live up to the style. Nor the previous films in the trilogy. It's a mess of characters and motivations, an arrogant and pompous instant blockbuster. A jumble of film, but a spectacle.
