Overall, I was disappointed, but I may be too harsh on old James Bond. I very much appreciated the scale of Skyfall, the world is not in peril, just MI6. And the fighting between agents, between two sides of the same coin. It's a great concept for a Bond film. My real beef is the idea that Bond is a worn-out, old dog. I understand it is a hard life and Daniel Craig's Bond has always had very dark undertones. But it's only been three films, I just saw him get his license to kill. It's too soon to pull out the retirement card.
