From it’s complete disregard for any human life to “I’ll buy that for a dollar” Robocop is a masterpiece of a fully realized, trashy satire. It is brilliantly scripted, campily acted and very strongly directed. It’s strongest point is the convincing, dark world that Robocop lives in. A tour de force.
